Performance at the Honorary Consulate

Performance at the meeting with the President of the Republic of Latvia at the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Hamburg.

On Sunday, 24 February 2019, our choir BaltiCoro enriched an event at the Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Hamburg with several songs. The Honorary Consul, Dr Sommerkamp-Homann, had invited Latvians and friends of Latvia from Hamburg to a meeting with the President of the Republic of Latvia, Raimonds Vējonis. Also present were the President's wife, Iveta Vējone, the Ambassador of Latvia, Inga Skujiņa, officers of the Armed Forces of Latvia and over 100 guests. Short speeches and a poem recited by children alternated with the songs of our choir. The songs were chosen according to the occasion - patriotic content. Afterwards, there was an opportunity to talk with the President and other holders of state offices.
